HopeShades, a sunglasses brand that sells sunglasses that not only look great, but also give back to the people and planet around us.
The challenge
Our challenge was to create a fashion accessory design for premium-style sunglasses in just 4 days!
Our solution
The mission was almost impossible, but our team worked non-stop during nights and days to deliver this particular order. For us, it was about more than product design. We put all our efforts because our knowledge of how to design sunglasses helped an organization that helps many other people. HopeShade’s mission is to bring back hope and prosperity to our planet which correlates well with LA NPDT‘s mission of turning business dreams into reality and helping our region to grow and prosper. The HOPE 4 NOW SHADES will receive $5 per pair of shades sold, this, along with the $1 from every other pair sold will allow HOPE SHADES to act quickly when providing support to those in the world in need of HOPE.
The result
With our lightning-fast turnaround process, we completed a fashion accessory design that would be impossible for the majority of product design companies. We are proud of our work as it allowed our client to continue providing immediate, unconditional support to communities in need around the globe. For every pair of shades sold, a portion of the proceeds will go to a collective pool of funds that will be allocated to global events needing immediate aid; i.e. Hurricanes, Floods, Earthquakes, the recent attacks on Paris, the refugees of Syria and so much more.
