About this video
With your concept ready to go, it’s important to know how your prototype will look and function before proceeding to production and marketing phases. That's why LA NPDT provides a variety of rapid prototyping services, from 3-D printing, silicon rubber molding, mechanical prototyping, electrical prototyping, and CNC machining. Regardless of the complexity of the prototype, LA NPDT’s expertise and skills will make it possible. We work with all kinds of materials, including plastics, resin, ceramics, and metals. When your prototype is ready to go to mass production we’ll connect you with our net

Have a product to build?
We handle concept design, engineering, prototyping and manufacturing hand-off in house — the same process shown in these videos.

Almost everything on this channel was produced alongside a real client programme rather than as marketing filler. Some clips are product animations built to explain a mechanism to a licensee or a retail buyer, some document how a prototype was machined, printed or assembled, and some are episodes of our podcast covering developments in product design and manufacturing.
We publish them because most of the questions inventors ask are easier to answer by showing than by describing. Seeing how a part comes off a printer, how an overmoulded grip is cast, or how a concept is judged in a design review tends to settle expectations about cost and schedule far faster than a written explanation.
LA New Product Development Team is a US design, engineering and prototyping group based in Ruston, Louisiana. We take hardware products from an initial idea through research, industrial design, mechanical and electronic engineering, prototyping and a manufacturing hand-off, and every video here comes out of that work.
