Wayne and Dawn Nix are the founders of RNvention, a Louisiana-based company that specializes in medical tools and products. The couple has over 20 years of medical experience between them, and their flagship product is MultiNix.
MultiNix is a tool for nurses that contains over 15 features and 25 different applications. The Nixes developed the product by interviewing hundreds of fellow nurses and incorporating their feedback into the design. We at LA NPDT were thrilled to contribute to the creation of MultiNix with product design, prototyping, and DFM.
As a result, the product was a major hit with users, leading to RNvention licensing it to Medline, a major medical supplier.
