Onega Ulanova of the LA New Product Development Team Nominated for the 2020 Class of Top 40 Under Forty Shreveport-Bossier Professionals

Shreveport, LA, September 8, 2020 – Onega Ulanova, a co-founder of the LA NPDT product design and development company from Shreveport, LA made the list of Top 40 Under Forty honorees for the year 2020. Annually, the Young Professionals Initiative (YPI) of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce recognizes forty the most outstanding and accomplished young professionals who are making a significant impact on and for the Northwest Louisiana community.

“I strongly believe that it is a responsibility of each and every person to give back to the community we live in. Either by contributing donations or time,” says Ulanova, “In my case, I do both on a daily basis. I love to give my time and be a part of the Rotary Club of Shreveport where I am a chair of international activities, spend time with kids while teaching Entrepreneurship, or give my Thursdays to support Rescue Mission and help cater the food to those in need.

I also enjoy helping the Society of Petroleum Engineers with their events and gathering. Lately, after the personal invite by the National Small Business Administration, I am exploring options how my experience can contribute to the betterment of entrepreneurship on a national level.”

In addition to all the important work Onega Ulanova does, she also contributes to the community by being a member of the LA NPDT team. The product design and development company that she co-founded assists entrepreneurs and inventors in realizing their big vision by developing and bringing their products to the market.

The team has already helped to introduce hundreds of innovative and needed products to different industries, including healthcare. “Being a living part of our community and watching the danger COVID-19 was about to bring to us, our company started to manufacture and share with the community such needed PPE (face shields) with the front line warriors,” she said.

Looking at such dedication to make this world a better place, it’s not surprising that YPI committee has selected Onega as one of the forty remarkable individuals and influencers of the Shreveport-Bossier community.

The recognition of honorees will take place at the 14th annual 40 Under Forty Gala on December 5, 2020. At the event, one of the selected professionals will be recognized as Young Professional of the Year. And Onega Ulanova might very well be the one for 2020.
